The members of the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys specialize in hospitality industry legal issues. AHIA members have a minimum of 6 years’ experience for In-house counsel or 10 years’ experience for outside counsel.  In-house counsel work in key companies in the hospitality industry. Outside counsel members have at least 50% of their practice in either the meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) and/or travel, tourism, restaurant and broader hospitality industries. 

All AHIA members are committed to promoting professionalism, continuing education and improved communication which creates a network of competent experienced attorneys committed to improving legal services throughout the hospitality industry.
